Disability and Chronic Illness

Approx. 8% of students in Germany are affected by disability or chronic illness.
Contact person at the Studierendenwerk Ulm for students with disability is Krstimir Krizaj, phone 0731 79031-142, e-mail krstimir.krizaj@nullstudierendenwerk-ulm.de. The Studierendenwerk Ulm provides an adapted 2-people unit, one apartment and three low-barrier rooms for students with disability. Every university has consultants for students with disability or chronic illness.

The German National Association for Student Affairs (DSW), a voluntary association of Germany’s Studierendenwerke, has a central advisory and information service. This service collects, prepares and passes on all information that might be important for students with disability or chronic illness.
