The individual standard period of study will also be extended for the summer semester 2021!

For students enrolled in the summer semester 2020, winter semester 2020/2021 or summer semester 2021, an individual standard period of study that deviates from the standard period of study will be extended by one semester for each of these semesters; in order to cushion hardships caused by the Corona pandemic.

The individual standard period of study essentially affects the period of entitlement to BAföG. For first-semester students (summer semester 2021), this means that the submission of the certificate of achievement according to § 48 BAföG will be postponed by one semester and the maximum funding period will increase by one semester.
For students who were enrolled in the summer semester 2020, winter semester 2020/21 and summer semester 2021, the submission of the transcript of records is now also postponed by a further semester, i.e. by a total of three semesters. The same applies to the maximum funding period.

Campus catering facilities open at all locations from 07.06.2021!

On 14 May 2021, the amended Corona-VO of the state of Baden-Württemberg came into force, which allows the operation of refectories and cafeterias again if certain incidences are reached and if conditions are met, so that the Studierendenwerk Ulm can open all facilities again. Please note that depending on the infection situation, the offer may have to be extended or restricted again at short notice. The specific requirements in the individual facilities for compliance with the regulations of the Corona-VO of the state of Baden-Württemberg can be found in the user agreement including the data protection notice.

We are pleased that you are coming to eat again!
Depending on the facility, guests can expect both take-away and on-site offers.

The general rule is that guests and staff should feel safe with us. That's why food in the refectories is only available by reservation. This helps us to comply with the requirements of the Corona Regulation. In addition, consumption in the refectories and cafeterias is only possible for those who have been tested, vaccinated or have recovered. Visitors to canteens and cafeterias must either show a negative Corona rapid test that is no more than 24 hours old or prove that the last required Corona vaccination was at least 14 days ago. Those who can present a positive PCR test, PoC-PCR or other nucleic acid proof that is no younger than 28 days and no older than six months are considered recovered.

All information and how to order can be found here: https://studierendenwerk-ulm.de/c-essen/bedingungen/.

The vending machines are regularly filled with snacks, hot and cold drinks.
